Case of overconfidence on the part of the C's

Awful play by KG and Pp and why is doc not stickin with the rotation thats been workin during our winnin streak.  AND yes...that Rest made KG and PP secifically out of rhythm. :(

I didn't like the decision to sit our starters during the Atlanta game, but I still think we'll win this series.

I love how we are assuming rest is to blame because they are out of "rhythm" what a load of crap.

Why don't think get out of "rhythm" after say the all star break, or a 3 or 4 day period between games..?

So sitting on the bench and watching the team play a game or two causes them to lose "rhythm"?

Love the sports cliche's. Sitting out a couple days is NOT negative by any stretch. Be real.

Actually, I have noticed that we seem to play badly after a 3/4 day rest period. Not that I have any numbers or anything, just my observations.

Doc did say rest is overrated. And health is priority.
I moved the cheese.

What about after the ASB....?

This BS rhetoric is just that. BS.

These guys eat, breathe, and sleep basketball.. Sitting out a few games at the end of the loooong season after 30+ years of basketball does absolutely nothing but help.

LOL at Rust.

so, its no coincidence that the celtics starters come back from not playing a meaningful BB game in a week or so...and look rusty...or is KG/PP shooting 27% something that usually happens?

they were in a rhythm before that.

I think it's injury prevention just as much as rest.

Not to worry.  Once the rust breaks off they will get into a rhythm.  If not this game then definitely game 2.  They need to play angry.

C's just didn't look all that assertive defensively and it's taken them a half to get into this game emotionally.

Is it overconfidence?

Who knows.

It's ok, they just need a few games to get back into the rhythm of things. They should be rolling by game 5 or so.

Dude. How many of you have played basketball your entire lives? Eat, sleep, breathe.

You don't lose it after a couple days off. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Pierce was garbage tonight. It wasn't because of rest. Tired of the lame excuses.

They lost because they played terrible.
