Been reading some arrogant posts all week.  Consider this first half a reality check if you assumed this would be a cake walk.  Given that the hawks have HCA, there is no reason they shouldn't be favored in the series.

When did anyone ever say Atlanta was going to be easy?

I think there was every reason to be confident in the Celts chances to win this series.  And  I still do.

Heck I still think they can win this game.

Yup

Easy is the wrong word.  How about foregone conclusion?  It seems, many fans were assuming the second round was in the bag.

Fans can be forgiven for being overly optimistic, or even arrogant.  Let's hope the team hasn't bought in, though.

I guess there's been some chest thumping, but I don't think the Celts are good enough to take anything for granted or look ahead - and I don't blame their first half performance on either of those things.  Can't speak for the general fan base though.
Yup

Hard to win a game let alone a series with this play from your "stars."

So why didn't you post this during the week, instead of in the middle of a game (where the Hawks are in the lead)? Would we have seen this thread if the Celts were up 20 by now? I don't think so. Also, I wouldn't call it arrogance, I'd call it confidence. There's a huge difference.

PS. Celts will win Game 1. It may be ugly, but we'll win.

So you're picking the Hawks to win?

celtics are shooting 35% right now I dont see them shooting that poorly through 7 games.

especially Pierce/KG

the series is going to be tough...I mean its the playoffs. but I think the celtics will pull it out..is it wrong to believe in your team?

Been posting this all week but of course, no one was having it.  And yeah, if I'm betting money, it would be on the hawks.

Save him until the ECF and the Finals.
There is some serious overconfidence here.  We'll need to be at our best to beat either the hawks or the bulls.  Having ray would help.  If he can play, you put him out there.

That was all I could find.
