No reason to put blame on refs. We can't hit a shot and we can defend neither the perimeter nor the paint. They also hustle more.
Anything else to worsen the situation?

3 for 23 from outside the paint for the C's
If you're not making your jumpshots why not go inside. They keep chucking down threes and long twos instead of going inside the paint.
that's the problem with the offense of this team.  it's all jumpers.  when they're hitting, they look great.  when they're not, like tonight, they look horrid.

Not excusing the way the guys are playing tonight, but this game here is clear proof as to how important Ray is to this team. People would do well not to forget what we are seeing here. Ray Allen's experience and what he brings to this team is not so easily replaced.

Ray defends heinrich far better than what we saw at the start of this game, which would have likely cut down on the three pointers hit so far. Bradley is great defensively, but also undersized, hence teams get away with more against him out on the perimeter. Not only that, I think with Ray on the court, and with the threat of his three point shot, the Celtics would possibly be leading this thing right now, or not be down by as much.

I don't know why Doc has gone away from that rotation that was playing so well during late March and most of April. He's got Dooling and Pavlovic in a ten man rotation? Not good.

Though maybe Bass, KG and Bradley no-showing in this first half has something to do with it.

As long as the C's win one of the first two they'll be okay.  Maybe a blowout will light a fire under them better than a close loss anyway.

for all the crap Rondo gets for his shooting, he's the only one hitting jumpers tonight

Rondo only has 3 assists.  Not good.

the first 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter will show us if a comeback is possible.

if they don't make much headway on this deficit after 5 minutes then itll be time to move onto game 2
