I always thought Evans was a shooting guard that didn't have good range but had some really great passing skills for a shooting guard.

I think he would be a bad fit next to Rondo and I'm not sure I want him replacing Rondo as our main PG. Call me nuts but I like floor generals not scorers playing PG for the Celtics. Evans is a scorer. Rondo a floor general.

I generally dislike the idea of scoring wings who are bad three-point shooters.  I want to the Celtics to be able to trot out a line-up that has three guys with good shot selection who can make threes.

Too inconsistent. The dude will put up a near triple double one night and then go 1 for 15 the next night with an assist and a couple rebounds... I cant believe Im actually saying it... But I would rather keep Bradley as our starting SG. Cheap, young, with potential... We would have to break the bank for Evans.

I think this is a case (much like Turner in Philly), where a very talented player is looking much worse than his talent, because the talent around him is such a bad fit.

Hmm ... that could be a trade right there. Tyreke Evans for Evan Turner.

That team has a lot of chemistry issues to think they're anywhere close to contending. You could give them Granger and they still don't make the playoffs.

Also an interesting trade -- Granger for Tyreke.

Other ideas:

(3) Josh Smith for Tyreke
(4) Derrick Favors for Tyreke
(5) Millsap and an additional valuable asset
(6) Steph Curry for Tyreke
(7) Denver could offer a platter of quality but unexceptional players = say Afflalo, W.Chandler and Al Harrington for Tyreke.
[8] A top five pick in this year's draft lottery

1.trade wouldnt make sence to me unless iggy is moved
2.granger is intresting i think they would be at the top of the lottery at least if not an 8 seed
3.intrestng atl says YES but not sure if kings do
4.kings say no
5.kings again say no unless you add kanter & or favors
6.huh??
7.VERY intresting the kings can add depth & role players & build around cousins & whoever they draft this year imagine if they can draft davis or gill christ ?!?

this which is why i would only offer what i said above (2 1st rounders & next year's 1st)& see if the kings are dumb enough to do it

Yuck, I would pass on him only thing consistent with him is he is inconsistent.

He isn't worth a second rounder this year.

Hmmmmm.

I agree - only way this works is moving Rondo for Evans.

Which I wouldn't do without their lottery pick thrown in.

If I could get Evans and MKG for Rondo, that's like Christmas.

Without the lottery pick, though, no way.

Why is Tyreke valued so high in here?  Millsap and Smith are All-Star caliber players.  Favors is a beast.  Tyreke had one good rookie season with the Kings and has dropped production since.

16+, 4+ rebs (from the guard position), 4+ 1.3 steals on good shooting percentages for a guy who's 23 years old and commands a lot of defensive attention on his team is pretty good

Um Milsap, Smith are putting far better numbers on much better teams.  He shoots 44% from the floor without taking many 3's where he is dismal.  He is also starting as a forward for the kings, not guard.

I'd love to have Tyreke here but 1 first rd pick and Jajuan is all I'm giving up for him.. Can you imagine a backcourt rotation of Rondo, Bradley and Tyreke? SSSSSSSSSSSSSickkkkk!

I think you will see The Celtics discuss getting him. If I remember, Ainge REALLY liked him coming out of college. I think he has tried to trade for him in the past already.

He'd be great with Bradley though.

Reckon Doc could turn him into more of a team player? Rondo and Evans panning out with Avery as the backup is crazy...

Am I right in saying Reke is undervalued if the Kings are selling now?

Call me suspicious, but there's something about being shopped aggressively by a team with a .333 winning percentage that is a bit concerning.
