Ok so I didn't find him, and no one can replace Paul Pierce, but MAN is this kid nasty.
6 foot 7.
Can shoot, can run, is explosive and he can jump outta the gym.
Perhaps the most important thing is that he has an absolute killer instinct, I mean he wants the ball in his hands in any crucial moment.
He's only 16, but I watched him at the Nike Hoop summit and he was awesome there as the youngest player on the court.

In these vids he's just beating up on high school chumps, but that's the only guys he can play against at his age. he's trying to go to College early so he might be available in 13'.
Here's a video of him when he was 15. yes FIFTEEN! He was 6 foot 6 back then.

he's now a sophomore and he's 6 foot 7 and they say he's still growing.

here's our plan.
Go after Nerlens Noel in 2013.
Go after Wiggins in 2014.
Win Banner 19! (after we win this year)

No offense I just don't know how people can get into this stuff.

I could care less about the draft this year let alone some 16new year old.

Im just getting ready for this weekend

None taken, just looking at the future of the great game. People are ready send babies to the slaughter for Austin Rivers, when there's lots of other players to watch too. Hopefully we'll be able to get our hands on him or someone like him.
Don't worry I'm ready for the weekend. I've forked out way too much money on playoffs tickets already :)

Seriously, though.  I want Danny to draft Pierce's replacement this year.  There are several high-potential Bradley-young 3's that should be there in the second half of the first round.

Once Doc's done seasoning the kid for a year, he should follow Bradley's trajectory in his second year--and replace Pierce as a starter by mid-season.

Awkward jump shot for this kid, nice athlete though.

ha, ha...good one. i thought the same thing.

maybe he will be as good as pierce, but if so, how will the celtics manage to draft him? i suspect some other GMs might be able to spot such talent.

but nice to dream. thanks for the video.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Paul Pierce's replacement at the 3 should be Jeff Green when he returns.  Green is still young.  He's still a couple of years away from his so-called prime years.

Nice! Ugly shot for sure, but obvious talent.

Yeah, but I'm not sold on Green: I think he only works if Danny's got studs at the 4 and the 5.  If Danny uses both 1st rounders he currently has, I think there's a fair chance one of them is a high potential 19 or 20-year old 3.

I'd rather have Jeff Green.

I don't know that I feel that strongly about it....But I worry that a kid who's excelling this early will have a hard time staying level-headed long term.  How many phenoms / legends have we heard of from JR high, high school etc who disappear before they ever get to college?

Hopefully players like Wiggins have solid parents, family, and coaches to keep him grounded.
