I don't get it.. Why do those poor saps at Cleveland hate him? He reinvented their team almost all by himself, he carried them to them finals and to become a perrenial contender.

He chose to sign with Miami because he deserves a ring.. The fans  are very ungrateful, they should thank him.. Especially their owner.. Cleveland will never win a ring without Lebron and it's their own fault.

And the truth is, he just wants to be liked... He trully is the best player in the league, and those uncalled travels really aren't his fault.. Would you complain to the ref if he didn't call a travel on you?
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

No I wouldn't, but then I wouldn't whine about every legit call either...

Oh and btw, Leroid could save orphans from a burning building, while developing a cure for cancer at the same time and I still wouldn't like him.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Nike has done everything in their (extreme amounts of) power to change the perception of LeBron, but no matter what; he finds a way to mess it up.

He keeps talking. Its a problem. Actions speak louder...win a chip, and have your picture taken while building a house in one of the towns destroyed by tornadoes. Maybe a quote like 'What they're doing here, rebuilding something they lost, not giving up. It moved me, so I came. I hope others do too.'

He'd be money.

You hear me, Nike?

I really do not like guys who wilt like he does especially when they are forced fed on me as the greatest and latest.   Personally, I do not know him.   I think he has mangled many things with his hubris and bad handlers.  But this commercial is a good thing encouraging young peeps to stay in school.  I still don't care for him as a player but the intent of the commercial is something most civil minded people would champion.   It doesn't change my perception for the most part but it is good to see him using his influence for something good rather than purely selfish reasons.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Guy has been told that he's 'The Man' since he was 14 years old. It's nigh impossible for a human being to not think that if they are around people that are constantly babying them and pandering to their every need.
When you are told and molded to believe you can do no wrong, you really don't think too much about your actions before you make them.

People don't care that he left Cleveland, they care about the way he left Cleveland.
Which I understand. He's a public figure and a role model and he's always in the firing line. It's the price of fame. I don't doubt the guy is a great human, it's just that the public don't like to give many chances and he really screwed up with his move to Miami and the publicity that he openly welcomed by 'The Decision'.
I bet he spends a lot of time thinking about that day and I bet he'd give back a lot of his millions to take it all back and do it the right way.

It's just a shame that he gets treated almost like a wife beater or a drug taking athlete in some respects. He's been put into a category where he really doesn't belong and it's unfortunate. Hopefully the media plays it's part in repairing his image after all the money they've made off of hating him.
Everyone deserves a second chance.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Yeah its weird, when he was in CLE I was just unabashedly baggin on him, because it seemed like everyone just agreed he was the best thing to grace the court since..anyone.

But since he's been to Miami I've had to support him almost as much as I've attacked him, because so many of the attacks are coming from a weird unfair place.

He's got a solid career ahead of him in the WWE when he finally gets sick of losing in the NBA, though.

No, he can't go to WWE. He doesn't have perfect timing. Too obvious.

I want to dislike him, but I'm finding it harder to hate on a guy that looks like Abraham Lincoln.
