for as long as Marquis been in the league, he should be able to make 3 by now.

JJJ is one trigger happy guy, Bass must be his role model. ;D

He can hit that shot, and he knows it. Probably some jitters, similar to what Bradley was going through before.

Good to see at least one other has learned.

Yeah good point, the only reason players play poorly or can't make open shots is because they don't get enough playing time.  Of course unless they don't get more playing time because they can't make open shots or play defense hmmm

This blog has never met a rookie who it didn't think should be playing more - no matter how inept they look when they do play, as in J3 tonight. He has been awful.

Where did I say JJJ should play more.

Good god, do people even read?
Must not be any moderators around tonight, with all the personal attacks from this guy.

Who's talking to you, Slick? Certainly not me.

Absolutely talking to you. Read the quote history. Pretty dang clear.
Don't think I ever asked you who you were talking to.

So I'll say it again. I'm not talking to you. Period.

That clear?

Atlanta is somewhat a home game. Last time Celts were here, the green beat the red in the crowd.

TPs all around for a 30 point morale victory? If I could I would.

Edit: meant to say "I would if I could".

Daniels had a nice night. Wasn't Bass' best night. Bradley had a good night offensively.

Good effort. Nice statement to the Hawks about the reality of the upcoming series.

When you basically tell 5 of your top 6 players to sit for the night and the other team plays all their regulars AND you are on their home court, you expect to get blown out and lose the game.

Instead we got an actual competitive game that the Celtics had a chance to win.

Can anyone really be upset at the outcome, regardless of whether Bradley sat for a while in the fourth or Bass had a bad shooting night or Stiemsma didn't play enough or whatever?

Awesome game bench guys, I'm proud of you.

Yeah. Overall, a nice effort.

Nice job putting doubt into the Hawks' mind.

I'm not upset at all. They could've taken it. But considering who are playing and are not playing...I'm not worried about the first round anymore.

Aside from Bass' off-night, our bench played well. Everyone found a way to contibute, so, we should be happy about that.

My thoughts exactly, thought we were going to get a lead on the fast break before JJ got bailed out.

Seconded. This one's a moral victory in my book. Bench guys got to build a ton of confidence. I don't think we need home court to beat the Hawks - if we end up losing to them in the first round it won't be because they had home court anyways.

Can't even be upset about bradley sitting in the 4th... we played him too many minutes early... he was probably toast.

When we did finally put him in, the Atlanta defense found a way to keep the ball out of his hands anyhow.  No worries.  Bradley had himself a nice career night.  Atlanta didn't expect it at all.  It was almost Linsane.

Not upset at all, always been proud of this team. Can't wait for the playoffs.
