Worried that AB might not top this block, that is.

We have Ray back for the game this time, possibly off the bench. Starting Avery is making Doc look like a genius. KG is thriving in his role at Center. As long as pterodactyl-face doesn't go off on us, I like our chances, and so should you.

These are interesting times; this team has been stung by the injury bug as usual, but for once it's actually made them better.

I actually see BOS coming out with a fire in their bellies for this one.

I get the feeling around the league that BOS's previous win vs MIA was one of those "BOS beat MIA bad, BUT........."..yeah..one of those.

BOS still has a lot to prove..even to MIA. MIA (and the league) probably sees the 91-72 game as a fluke, mostly.

BOS gets this one, or even plays VERY competitively, and THEN BOS will get on some folk's radar.

Instead of a defeatist attitude or a cocky swagger, I'm just going to root for my C's come hell or high water. Let's GO!

I'm not even worried about them with the way we have been playing defense, they don't scare me as crazy as that sounds. It's usually I'm worried about them going off offensively but we have just been awesome on the defensive end I don't see us letting up.

I see us being jacked up w/ a plan shutting James down since he's been the one leading them. As far as Wade just throw Bradley, Sasha and Ray at him wearing him down.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Wades ankle is playing up again. He's missed 2 of the last 4 games.
They will defend the pick and roll completely differently this time though- I doubt Rondo gets as much freedom this game, and will probably have Lebron or Wade on him if Wade plays.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

The formula hasn't changed for beating Miami: Get. Back. On. Defense.

If we do that and run our stuff, we'll be fine.

I thought Battier shot like 50% from 3 last game.

I have little confidence for Tues, but I will hope for the best and not worry about things I can't control.

I can't wait.  I personally have a list of teams I consider real "contenders" and that Miami game is the only time all season we've actually beaten one.  It was really encouraging. And all our games against the other playoff teams (Philly/Indiana, etc) is encouraging too... but I want to desperately believe this team has an actual shot of winning it all.  Another win against Miami might be enough to give me real hope.

Well the C's also defeated the Clippers, Houston, Orlando 2x, Atlanta, and Knicks. I hope those are also very supportive to your statement, or hope!

Geez, I could watch this all day. Perhaps my favorite moment of the season so far.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

TP for the attitude and for the Battier reminder. Watching the game I thought he was killing it from the 3-point line.

I'm very confident we'll watch a great game by the Celtics.

Go Celtics!!

I wouldn't be surprised if they beat us by 72.

Celtics compete against My Hammy real hard. Both teams are improved from over a year ago. Boston was not far off last year having leads late in the fourth qtr against Miami in games four and five but Lebron maxed out against us and then Chicago before having no 4 th qtr against Dallas.
The beatings will continue until morale improves
