One of the hardest things to do is admit when you're wrong. But in this case, it's easy. Early in the year I completely wrote off Avery Bradley as an NBA player. He seemed absolutely lost on the offensive end, and quite frankly I was tired of seeing him get minutes over E'Twaun Moore. I even advocated him being traded. Boy was I wrong.
It's not easy to fill in for a first-ballot Hall of Famer, especially when that guy is the all-time leader in 3pt FG made. Zero Tolerance has done more than just that. He's lit a spark under this team with his defensive intensity and newly-found jump shot. I commend the man for accepting the challenge and performing brilliantly in doing so. He's definitely someone we need to keep around for the future. Again, I was wrong.
What I was right about was the fact that this team still has a run left in them. I believed all we needed was an aggressive KG, and time to get into a groove. Well folks, those two things have come to fruition. We are playing beautiful basketball as of late.
I'm a college student from Arkansas without a reason in the world to cheer for the Boston Celtics other than my love for the game, and an appreciation when it's played the right way. This is why I love this team. We've had every reason to give up on the season and tank for future prospects/talent due to a barrage of injuries, but we never threw in the towel. We are a TEAM in every aspect of the word. Our organization truly cares about every player. I will love the Celtics until the day I die.
