The Heat are the most talented team in the league.
Talented in what sense? ball handling? play-making? Long range shooting?  What they've got is 2 all-star wings with off and on 3-balls who thrive in transition and get more than their share of buddy calls. Beyond that, they have a string bean who can shoot, most of the time, Battier, and some semi-complementary filler.

James and Wade by almost anyone's assessment are both top 5 talents in the league. Let's start there -- the only team in the league with 2 top 5 players.  Add to that an 18/8 forward in Bosh, 3-point threats off the bench in Jones, Battier and Miller.  Defensively excellent. A decent PG in Chalmers and Haslem is a solid rebounder.  Yes, I can't think of a more talented team.  Doesn't mean they are the best; but they are talented.

Give me Austin Rivers and Kaman or Humpheries and Mihimi next year and we are legit contenders

PG: Rondo   / Bradley
SG: Ray     / Rivers
SF: PP      / Green
PF: KG      / Bass
 C: Kaman   / Steamer

or

PG: Rondo      / Bradley / vet min
SG: Ray        / Rivers  / Moore
SF: PP         / Green   / Daniels or Pietrus
PF: Humpheries / Bass    / JJJ
 C: KG         / Mihimi / Steamer

Bradley could start  with either lineup

I don't want Ray starting next year.

FOR ALL OF YOU THAT HAS BELIEVED IN THIS TEAM ALL YEAR, NO MATTER WHAT... TODAY IS VALIDATION.

for those of you who constantly talk trash about this team along with those in the media who do so...

Leaving aside the matter of taste, this is not the team form earlier in the year.  Celtics 1.0 had an aging center with feet stuck in cement, a post-allergic PF and wings running at the speed of....men walking. Until injuries forced lineup changes, there were plenty of cause for sketpicsim.

C's 2.0? This one's all right.  Good win!

Looking forward to see what the boys and girls at ESPN have to say about this  ;D

Maybe they should dismiss the My Hammy Cheat from contention for the NBA title contention. Lebron James for Metta World Peace ideas have to be springing up all over the My Hammy Cheat message boards :)
The beatings will continue until morale improves

C's are rebuilding in mid-season.

 and some semi-complementary filler.

They have a lot of firepower, not the same as talent. James and Wade -- similar games and weakness, not complimentary. An 18/8 forward in Bosh --who gets a lot of his becuase of DW. 3-point threats off the bench in Jones, Battier  --ok,  J &B, mabe not M so much. A decent PG in Chalmers -- a catch and shoot pg.  Haslem is a solid rebounder. IF they can run through you they  win. In the half-court, they struggle.

What a great win by the C's! AB has really grown up right before our eyes. He's one special kid and i'm glad Doc and Danny were patient with him.

Great win.  And for all of this talk about slipping back to the 7 or 8 seed, we only find ourselves 2 games behind Orlando for the 3rd seed.  Time to push for that.

I think when Tenascious replied to the original quote (page 23) he must have made an error when cutting down the post before adding his post.  I can lay claim to the 'Miami is talented' quote.
