He was moving his head, legs, arms and body before Lacerte came out and told him not to move again for precautionary reasons. This recent post bu Blakley combined with seeing these movements confirms to me that he will be ok.

Great news. However, depending on the level of concussion, hr could be out for a long time.

Is it safe to say ( aside from basketball but for his well well being) he didn't break any thing in his neck? What did they check for with the tests?

The most obvious test is a CT scan to detect brain injury.  I'm sure he went through whatever the normally battery of tests is for detecting concussions and determining their severity, seeing how he responds to stimuli, testing if his memory is affected.
That is hopefully great

This is such a relief. I'm so glad to hear it was nothing serious. I wish him the speediest and safest of recoveries. At the point I'll be fine with our players being bubbled wrapped for each game and getting checkups daily. Our health situation is becoming abysmal.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Forsberg is writing a story, but his latest tweets about Pietrus:

Quote
Early indications are Mickael Pietrus avoided serious head injury and expects to be back on the court this season, according to his agent.

Quote
Story link coming, but initial tests (x-Ray, CT scan) revealed no abnormalities. It appears to simply be a concussion; More tests to be run.

Quote
Pietrus has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support & plans to release a Twitter statement later this afternoon to express his thanks.

Quote
Pietrus' first question for his agent's assistant when reached by phone: What happened in the 76ers game?
