Team defense just totally disintegrated in 3Q. Blame the Pietrus injury for that.  They have no interest in playing the remainder of this game.  Can't say I blame them either.

This Pietrus thing just trashed the rest of their season.

We've practically run out of rotation-worthy backups. I don't think this is going to be a good quarter for us.

That speech from Pietrus...wow. Somebody needed to say it and I'm shocked it was him. I really love this guy.

What did he say in his speech?  anyone have a link to it....

They didn't show it they were just talking about it, apparently it came out in some news articles today.

The gist of it was after a loss in Toronto, Pietrus was the guy in the locker room who asked what was wrong with them. How when he used to play against them they played so hard, so tough, all the time and he doesn't see that right now. He came to Boston because he wanted to win, and he wanted to win with this team. Afterwards KG came up to him and thanked him.

thank you!

Anytime  :)

Starting to look like loss. Philly frontcourt is just better.
An intact Celtics team would handle these guys in a 7 game series.  They're not that good.

With JO/Wilcox I agree. Unfortunately that ain't happening.

JO is not walking thru that door!  ;D

Good thing we had an extra roster spot this season. Celtics are falling as though it's war.

About as bad a quarter as possible. No ball movement. Ball stopping at the point. Hurried shots. No defense whatsoever at any of the five positions.

Terrible basketball.

ugh... I couldn't care less about the game.

No updates on him, here's hoping for the best.

Get well, Pietrus!

Pietrus' injury seems to have sucked the life out of the Celtics tonight. Can't blame them though.
