Shame the Celtics lost tonight. They looked great in the first half up until around the Pietrus injury. Maybe next time.

We officially are now Portland East in terms of injuries and lost players.

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Losing Wilcox and Green for the season is not nearly on the same level as having two potential franchise cornerstones lose their knees.

Me neither.

For all that, we could've rcvd the 1st pick in the Oden/Durant draft, and drafted Oden......

We all know how 07-08 went.

We've had a bad stretch of inuries/medical issues this year, but not in the same vein as Portland.

Broussard just seems to say things just to hear himself talk sometimes.

He now thinks that PHI, if matched up with BOS in a playoff series, will beat us.

I hear what you are saying, but I am just looking collectively at all of the injuries this year and the fact that there is not a proven center on the team -- Gone = JO, Green, Wilcox and likely Pietrus. No franchise players, but all pretty key cogs in the machine.

Honestly they probably would given the injury situation. Series would probably go 6 or 7.

any respect I tried to build towards Magic has flushed down the toilet after his analysis  of the game, praising Jrue Holliday and Doug Collins for their strong comeback and domination of the Celtics.

He belongs in ESPN, no doubt

I don't think I can sleep tonight. Basketball gods, you can go and destroy any other team (except the Blazers, of course) in the league.

Go Celtics! With Ray, Pietrus and Bradley available, we destroy those Philly scrubs tonight.

A man goes down in a horrifically, emotionally draining case of head trauma and suddenly the story is about Philly persevering. K.

The Celtics were dominating and lost two guys, one horrifically as you say.  Sounds to me like announcers everywhere should get angry notes from their bosses.....

I'm more worried about Pietrus instead of this loss. I just wish the best for him and the rest of this team.
Also ESPN can kick all kinds of rocks they've been on my hate list since they had that poll where one of the choices were to see KG injured. They said it was a joke, but I didn't believe it.

They have had plenty of time to replace their players, we have a lot of injuries with no way to replace them with little more than scrubs! If we had Oden and he went down, we could have had another good C by now. It's bad for Oden that he can't play but they could get other players! We have lost a handful of players in the span of like 40+ games! Easy to replace one Oden than 5 players! Roy, well they have had a chance to replace him too, they have money!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Worst way to close out the trip. We need Pietrus. Our next 2 games are going to be big.
