I haven't been paying much attention to this game because I've been playing Formula 1 2011 on my Xbox 360 instead. I saw the Michael Pietrus injury; here's hoping he gets well soon. The way his head snapped backwards as he landed after that play looked scary. My guess is that he was trying to avoid hitting the back of his head on the floor and strained his neck.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
I almost feel guilty watching this game.  Praying for you Pietrus.  We all are.

I am just going to call out this Hollins signing a lemon.

He reminded me a lot of Tony The Tiger Mikki Moore, in his first few minutes. That is not a good thing :(

I'm not really going to judge Hollins for having his first minutes under these conditions.

What conditions? from my little experience playing ball, the court and the hoop are the same. I just didn't like what I saw. Good call Doc sitting him out.

started watching the game on tape delay.  caught the first quarter and figured I'd skip the second to watch live.  Looks like all the crap happened during the part I skipped -- guess I'll have to go back and watch it later  :-\

Anyone would be forgiven for not playing well after seeing what happened to pietrus. I'm not going to judge hollins. This is a lot of pressure.

I just saw what happened to Pietrus and I'm seriously praying for him right now. It looked horrible when I saw what happened.

Man why do the Celtics get all the bad luck. They have had injury after injury and two players with heart conditions lost this year. I wish the best for this team because they've been through alot.

Hollins defended well and altered some shots. If he defends and changes a couple of shots, I'm fine with him. Don't know what game some of you are watching.

He definitely did. I'm not going to judge the guy for missing a couple of free throws especially when one was a free throw he was taking for a teammate who just left the court on a stretcher, which also happened to be his first shot of the game  ::)

Feel almost like crying. This is incredibly sad, and I seriously hope that Pietrus is okay. I honestly don't give a [dang] about this game right now. Celtics have every reason in the world to not take this one. That was just one of the hardest things to watch in a basketball game that I've ever seen.

i know.
I just love the way pietrus plays the game, love his positive energy and the joy he takes in playing.
this is just crushing.

Comeon guys, do not judge Hollins on this game. Hes just nervous, from what ive seen he played some good defense and looks active.
