The clippers arent going to miss the playoffs. I dont think they'll go past the first round... But I dont think they'll fall out of the top 8.

It doesn't matter much if they miss the playoffs or not, each spot they drop in the standings is one spot the C's pick moves up.  So, their continued losing is good for the C's regardless.  If they do miss the playoffs, their odds of winning a top 3 spot in the lottery (and thereby the C's not getting their pick), will probably by like 2-3%

I don't think they'd have to break up the 4 & 5 necessarily, the Suns did make a pretty good run when they had Kurt Thomas at the center position for good stretches.

Though, to play devil's advocate obviously D'Antoni struggled to get the best out of Amare/Chandler, who are awfully similar to Griffin/Jordan.

Thomas only played 18 minutes a game that season and not for long stretches next to Amar'e. Diaw and Marion played the vast majority of the minutes at the 4 next to Amar'e. (I miss skinny Diaw lol)
