Moultrie would be great he needs some work but could be very good in 2-3 years in the right organization. Guy has gotten better every year which is of course important.

Buuut, we'll probably end up with a couple Giddensesque swingmen and call it a day..

To expect a high-potential legitimate big who's immediately ready would be asking a lot from the C's draft position.  I wouldn't mind the 2-3 years.

2. GMs seem to think we have Austin Rivers too low (@ #21). While scouts have generally been down on him all year, a number of NBA GMs told me they had him ranked considerably higher on their boards. One high-level scout told me he had Rivers ranked as a top-five or -six player in the draft.
Darn straight --  Davis, Drummond, Barnes, Rivers.

Hmm ... I thought I had Rivers at five, not four, I might be forgetting someone.

This draft is interesting. There's a lot of talent, but a lot of disagreement about where players should end up. It's not like everyone is settled on the same 10 guys at the top.

This is good - Danny has proven himself to be a good evaluator of talent, so we can feel optimistic that he will steal at least one very good player with our two picks.

He is not in the same class as Davis or Drummond.  Some mocks have him as a second rounder.
