With the first pick Austin Rivers or Terrence Ross.
With the second...Jae Crowder. The guy is a beast. Or Fab Melo, if he declares for the draft.

I would LOVE to have Jones on this team. Little bit of bias as a lifelong UK fan, but Jones is a good player. He's another undersized PF, which DA loves, but he plays bigger than his size. Last year, he was a double-double machine. This year, with Davis on the court, his numbers have gone down. But, he's a good defensive player, has range (though don't expect him to shoot a lot of 3's), and loves a monster dunk.

I've seen Moultrie play the few times he played Kentucky. I has always scared he would go off, even playing against Davis. He's another great shot blocker and defensive stalwart.

I'd be happy with either or both of these guys.

I don't even think Jones is undersized.  I think he is a legit 6'9" with long arms.

I really think he is a guy who had too much hype as a freshman, and when he didn't deliver, he fell down further than he should.

I think the comparison Ford made to Rondo was right on, in that sense.

I think if we draft Austin Rivers, that put Doc in a really tough situation. As most people in this forum like to say: "DOC DOESN'T PLAY ROOKIES"

so whats Austin's situation, if he plays him, then is he bias? if he doesn't how does his son feel?

If there is a real plan behind the post big 3 era, he has to. Personally, i think he will play rookies next season. He hasn't signed a five-year-deal just to play free agency veterans. Building assets is crucial.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I'm just gonna put this out there: Anthony Davis is one ugly lookin cat, and I'm happy we're not picking first because I'm just not sure I could get past his Billy Zane uni-brow.

I feel like once he's in the NBA his agent will explain to him that the unibrow will cost him endorsement  dollars so he will get it corrected.

If that is how the first round shakes out I would have picked Myers Leonard with the first pick. but Moultrie makes sense.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I'd be happy with both picks. I hope Danny finds a way to snatch another pick earlier in this draft. When you look at the prospects expected to be in the draft and around our range it seems like you just can't go wrong.

Interesting. I like Moultrie. I'd love to trade up a few spots for Lamb. Not feeling T Jones. Would also love to get Draymond Green. Both fit perfectly with the direction the league is heading - 6'6" to 6'9" guys who can run the floor, handle the ball enough, and shoot. He's an outstanding rebounder too. Looking at this, I'd either use a future pick or guy like Bradley or Johnson to trade up for Lamb, or trade down from 17 for another asset (say to Cleveland for the Lakers pick, New Orleans' second rounder and Cleveland's second rounder) and take Green and Moultrie. Of course a lot can change between now and then.
Go Celtics.

9) Utah via GS - Damian Lillard

7)Sacramento - James Michael McAdoo

This is way to early for both of these guys, I like Lillard but with the bigs in this draft I cant see him cracking the top 10. McAdoo has alot of potential but he will not be drafted before Perry Jones or John Henson.

If Sullinger falls to 13 Danny really needs to package both picks and move up to get him. I know he isn't the flashy prospect but he will be a very good pro and if the big 3 are brought back he could be the starting C next season. He would dramatically help the celtics rebounding.

None of this makes any difference.....if Danny drafted the next Jabbar  and  he was  a rookie Doc would not play him.  When Doc coached in Orlando and did not play the veterans they turned on him and got him fired. Moral to the story....Doc will not play young players.

Actually Leonard would be a great pick up. Good defender, size and a decent shooter form outside. I'd prefer him over some of these "small" power fowards.

I'd certainly select Austin rivers if he's available.  I don't expect him to be.

I just find it hard to believe he would come out if he is going to go as low as 20.
