this idiot could have had surgery  in the off-season and still would have been ready for opening day on xmas. Instead he just keeps putting it off, this really irritates me .

Probably not a buy-out now that he doesn't have a chance to sign with anybody else.  Maybe straight up waived.  Or retirement.

We should have told SHAQ to have his Achilles surgery & gambled he'd be ready for the playoffs instead of gambling with JO! Every year he disappoints playoff contenders come playoff time with injury after injury. No wonder why Miami gave up on him knowing they would be desperate to find a replacement, The Heat took a chance of having nothing rather than depending on his presence. Bring back Rasheed & hope Kaman gets released & bid Jermaine a farewell.

Yeah, I'm not sure I get the hate for JO around here. The guy was overpaid, but that's not his fault. He gave up his body over the past two years, fighting through a huge amount of injuries. He did what he could, but he was just so beat up. He can't even pick his kid up right now. JO's career is over, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. I'll remember him in a pretty positive light.
