Yeah, this is the style of play that had people doubting Rubio.

Who looks good in games like this other than Dikembe Mutombo?  Ugly, iso-heavy slogfests are bad for everybody.  They produced the two worst statistical seasons of Pierce's career (efficiency wise).

Don't think Doc is a genius for putting Pietrus on Joe Johnson to lock him down. He only did it because Pierce has 5. If Pierce had no foul problems, Joe would still be going nuts.


PS- Hawks announcers pronounce it Peetroos.
