its part of a bigger trade

Quote
As part of three-team deal, Nene goes to the Wizards, JaVale McGee to Denver and Nick Young to Clippers, sources tell Y! Sports.

Clips get their SG. No wonder Ray didn't go anywhere. Brian Cook and a 1st? No thanks.

I would have taken a 1st for Ray. Whose first is it?

I like it for all teams involved. Clips NEEDED legit 2 guard, JaVale needs a coach like George Karl, Nene provides a veteran presence for John Wall and WSH (and he's dang good player at that).

*sigh* oh Danny Ainge. Looks like the idiot savant is no longer a savant. Here's hoping OKC or CHI win it all this year over MIA/LAL.

3 young, talented players were involved in this trade...how could Danny have gotten involved here?

Ssh! Level-headed rational thinking isn't allowed. You have to look at everything that happens in the NBA as Danny's fault. The Decision? WHY DIDN'T DANNY GET LEBRON?!

Greenbean, not actually referring to this deal in particular. Just the fact the he did NOTHING when we having gaping holes in our line-up. Disappointed we didn't at least do a minor deal to get a big.

Great trade for the Clips.

Agree. I gotta say, how doesn't Neil Olshey win GM of the Year? He's put together a heck of a roster.

Chances are the the pick wouldn't be as talented as Nick Young.  It's the perfect situation for you, with a game controlling PG, rim defending center, and an up and coming team in his home town (He's from Reseda like the Karate Kid).

The big question is if an immature guy with a ton of talent, who so far in his NBA career has contributed to a team that lost three out of every four games suddenly figure out how to play winning basketball.

Since I want the Clips to outshine the Lakers, I hope so.

Patience my friend. There will be some nice buyout options.

It's a pity Nick Young has to start alongside Caron Butler.

That team is crying out for a Jared Dudley type to allow Caron to move to the bench and be a sixth man.

that's the trade that hurt us today, should move the clippers down a few postions in the draft, however the clips don't have young bird rights and may struggle to resign him if he commands more than the mle, they won't have the cap room if mo williams opts in next year
