I love the core, I love the starters. But we needed some young help off the bench. We don't have that. Doc doesn't play JaJuan or Moore, Bradley barely gets any PT and what do we expect from Quis, Pav, and Dooling? I hope we can get some type of guys that will help us at the buyout deadline...I just hate having to wait another week.

Maybe there is another "PJ Brown" out there who can give us some quality minutes of the bench.

ppl we have started to gets assets, bradley is one now, it's early fot jj, moore could be one if doc played him plus we have 2 1st rounders next year and cap space. One of them will be in the teens, other one in low 20's, ainge landed jefferson and rondo with similar draft positions

I hope so...I'd be fine if they signed Earl Barron. Other than that, not much out there until the buyouts.

"I don't want to trade away anyone!"

"Why didn't we trade for anybody?!"

so annoying...

My idea of a realistic trade for big man depth would be something along the lines of E-Twuan Moore and a second-round pick to Toronto for Jamaal Magloire.  I'm not exactly disappointed that such a deal didn't happen.

My ideal and hopeful trade was Dooling, Daniels, cash and a 2nd (or some combo) for Hickson and Donte Greene. Not world beaters by any means, but young and athletic and with height. Somehow we need to replace JO and Wilcox

The bright side of all of this is that at least we do not have to look at anymore "bring back Big Al" threads for the next few months.

I am happy they didn't give away future cap space for role players.

This.

DA tried and didn't think the return was good enough.

If people want DA to make a move just to make a move and hope for the best, then maybe they should become Orlando fans.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Our big situation is dicey.  But I definitely don't mind seeing these guys play it out.

Not all "role" players would have hurt the precious cap space

i wanted a small trade that doesnt involve any of the big 4, though I was scared that Avery Bradley was going to get traded

but then again, Trade Deadline is over, we could still look for FA to sign...

its not over yet guys, we might add someone before playoffs

I agree, small trade that didn't affect the core. That's what we needed. Something to give us fresh legs and young blood.
