so when this team was in a good position (last season),he ruins the whole situation  by trading perk for a player who can't even play this season and may not resign next season. now that we desperately need a little help HE DOES NOTHING! NOTHING!

wow this guy sucks

i see people are upset we couldnt get anything good. well, it happens. if none of the deals made sense, then DA was right in not making any moves.

what's the point of trading say ray allen for a mediocre big? outside of ray allen, i dont think any of the rest of the c's were very tradeable.

you cant just make a trade for the sake of a trade.

If he proposed Wilcox's contract and a 2013 1st, would they have listened?

Give up a 1st rounder so Boston can go from being a 100-1 shot to win a title to being 85-1?  That's a good deal?

it's all about his summer and the cap space. Perk would have eaten the cap space, and so would most moves Danny could have made today. Danny did the right thing.

Made the biggest GM mistake ever: overvalued own players.

Actually, Danny Ainge just AVOIDED the biggest GM mistake ever: eating up cap space for mediocre role players just for the sake of making a move.

But I'm not sure why JO, Wilcox, and/or Dooling didn't get moved with a future 2nd or something.

What could that have possibly gotten us?

I'm glad for the deadline to be over. Less to think about. Now we can focus on just rooting for the team.

he did the perk trade because he thought this team had a chance @ howard, which was all wrong.

I'm starting to accept that Ainge would have gladly taken a draft pick for Ray Allen or Paul Pierce... he just didn't want to lock us into long-term salary.  He offered Pierce to everyone with expiring contracts.  He listened to tons of offers for Ray Allen.  He had a "for sale" sign on Rondo all season.

Turns out, our players don't have any trade value.  Welcome to hell.  Prep yourself for a long... long... rebuild.

Danny is hoping Kaman gets bought out. And then he will pursue him hard without mortgaging some future.
