If we can get a young player and a pick I wouldn't be upset with moving Ray.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

So giving up Ray would mean rebuild who-cares about the season right?

would hate to see Ray go

Ray is a good player but I don't see trading him as giving up on our season. Right now he is someone who score primarily off wide open 3's. Even though he's probably the best in the league at doing it I think they could find someone else to fill that void.

Would really like evan Turner. Nocioni, Turner, and a pick for Ray. Nocioni has a bad contract though.

I wouldnt bank on Pietrus being that guy and reliable and unless it's someone filling the void right away in the swap don't see how we replace him. Not to mention we'd go through the Perk thing all over again the team would be shook.

Yes, but without Wilcox I dont see how we can honestly compete with anyone with our frontcourt the way it is

Ainge offered Indiana a pick for them to take in Jermaine O'Neal in a salary dump.
What kind of pick, a first rounder? Link?

A second rounder. No link but legitimate source. Indiana didn't agree.

Even if we get a great deal, I'd be like "nooooooo...but yes.......but noooooooo". Ray is a hell of a man.

Several contenders chasing Ray Allen. Some offering a good young player, some offering 1st round pick. If Celts get both, they may move him.

Legitimate source? So you're connected to the deli guy too?

Ray/Moore/Stiemsma for Rip/Korver/Asik is the best semi-realistic Ray deal I can come up with.

Chicago gets the starting 2-guard upgrade they've wanted in return for downgrading their back-up 5 spot.  Boston gets a half season and restricted free agency rights to a talented young center, plus a pair of guys who can function as decent Ray-placements.

2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Source or not, it makes a heck of a lot of sense, particularly if Danny is looking for a third team in a deal for a guy like Kaman.
