didn't Spears post something that's also on the front page oc CB though saying that due to some trade kickers or contract clauses, the C's can't trade for Kaman unless they give up one of the big three to make the $$ work?
Shamsports lists Kaman's contract for this year as having a trade kicker that already went into effect when he was traded to NO.
I don't see how Indiana could have slotted Kaman into their available cap space, but the Celtics couldn't acquire him without having to give up a member of the Big Three.
Indiana had $14,331,000 in cap room. That's enough to take in Kaman's contract ($14,030,000).
JON+Wilcox+Dooling is also enough to match up salaries.
