I wonder what their plan is at the PG position. Do they have a trade for Sessions lined up? Or are they going to take a chance on Arenas

Why do the Wolves want Crawford. He's not helping their ball movement at all.

For the Lakers, how does this affect Artest and his attitude? Is it enough to appease Kobe? Does it really make them better?

No. This is just the Lakers dumping a bum to get a better player. Just the Lakers again being beneficiaries of another one sided trade.

No, this is the Lakers desperately picking a bad player in the hopes that he will develop because he is young. Beasley is not very good.

He's better than Steve Blake. He may not be a legit starter on a contender. He can help sure up their bench and provide some scoring when needed though. This makes more sense for a team like the Lakers than it does most other teams.

While certainly Beasely's the much better player, you could argue based off of what they need that Steve Blake is more valuable. Again, look at the mock minutes list I provided above. They're asking Fisher and a rookie guard to play 48 minutes and remain a contender, without any assets to acquire one.

EDIT: What's almost comical to me is what they need most IS INVOLVED IN THE TRADE. Luke Ridnour is just about as perfect of a fit as you could think of. A player who accepts his role, moves the ball well, and can knock down open looks with consistency

Beasley's a nice fit on the Lakers.  Give them the quick forward they've needed to dynamize their offense/increase team speed after Odom left.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler
