Boston Celtics boss Danny Ainge has said Rajon Rondo will not be traded, he is still actively seeking offers for members of the Big Three. The Celtics offered Paul Pierce to Portland -- I'm not sure what they asked for in return -- but the Blazers were not interested because of the two years and $32 million remaining on Pierce's contract.

Wonder what he asked for...

The Clippers also have their eye on Ray Allen and believe they'll have a great chance to sign him as a free agent this summer. The Lakers called Portland recently to inquire about a possible trade for Crawford.

Very interesting. Batum and Matthews? I'd dream of LA but that's not happening.

Probably Mathews and Batum/Wallace plus expiring filler . Maybe Batum and a first and filler?

I'd bet the kitchen sink:  Wallace, Batum, and picks, minimum.

I don't think the Clippers have a "great" chance to sign Ray as a free agent.  If the Celtics want to keep him, he will stay.  I doubt he wants to move to LA, when his son is ill and he gets the best care on the east coast.

I know it's his job but I hate the idea of Danny "calling teams and offering Pierce." Listening to offers, I understand but this report sounds as though Pierce is being shopped.

I would hate to see Pierce go but if we could get Gerald in return that would somewhat ease the pain. however i cant see what Ainge would have asked for.... Im not sure any package from Portland would value Pierce.

Danny has to realize that rebuilding or not any trade that involves Paul Pierce will be held under a MUCH bigger microscope than the Kendrick Perkins trade ever was.

In the end if he trades Pierce and next season they can't draw anyone here because Rondo is not an attractive piece and they end up with one of the worst records in the league... does it cost Danny his job?

Management might think... what pieces will draw more players here... Rondo, Pierce and the young talent they have or just Rondo and the young talent? I'd say Rondo and Paul and I bet other players would too. I think you have to remain somewhat loyal otherwise players will think that they could be traded in a blink of an eye so why sign long term?

He probably asked for Wallace and Batum, or something like that.  I am guessing Danny was not looking to give Pierce away.

Rebuilding-wise, Pierce for Matthews, Batum and possibly picks would be pretty fair.

Don't get the hype about Batum. I have watched him play more then a dew times and I don't see the potential that I hear analysts talk about. I don't see any All-Star appearances in his future.

Paul George would be a prospect I would move Pierce for, but not Batum.
