I was tempted to suggest a Biedrins trade. The temptation came from the confusion that his Andris's career. On the surface he is a 25 year old 7' defensive specialist who at his best averaged a double double for two seasons. He actually peeked at 21-22 and hasn't been that good sense. If you go to draft express and read his Bio from 2008 it basically reads "this player is everything the celtics needs".

I feel when his 9mill a year contract runs its coarse Andris will get a change of scenery and revitalize his career.

If it wasn't for the 2 1/2 year remaining on his deal and our dependance on our free cap space, I would love to see him try to restart as a Celtic.

Biedrins is a pretty bad defender. He just gained the reputation of being a defensive specialist for rebounding and being mediocre offensively.

I wouldn't really touch him unles we are getting the 2007 Beans. Im on record that he can be backto that. He is still shying away from contact but back in 2007 he was solid.

The only reason I don't want him right now is his $9 million contract. If he was getting paid 6-7 it'll be a good gamble. I would pass on him just because of that huge owed money. I believe he can regain his 2007 self, but he's too expensive to gamble to.
