Obviously they don't care because they are going to get howard

so why not give up expirings and a pick for humphires, he's going to be cheap

What makes you think Kris can't play with Dwight?

Because he has value to them as part of a package for Howard.

Yeah, I think NJ would trade Humphries for a single first round pick and expiring contracts.

I would love for Kris to be a Celtic but I dont think he's going to be cheap at all.

Well 2 logical answers, there would be.
1) A guy who would marry a Kardashian is a drama queen and a spotlight hunter. Celtics never had a player like that.
2) I really believe he's just an average player. (my subjective opinion would be ... he sux)

Not the worst move if the C's wanted to get a player for O'Neal (since he appears to be done). Though I'd shoot for other players first.

I don't think the Celtics are close enough to contention where it'd make sense to give up first round picks for a rental, and I'd rather not see Kris Humprhies in our long term plans.

Pretty much...and the key word is "consistently". He's getting better and better every season, every game. I'm not saying he's the next KG or anything but he definitely shouldn't be overlooked...

Say what you will about Humphries, but he is a BEAST of a rebounder. He isn't doing as well this year, but last year he was a top 5 rebounder, according to Hollinger's stats.

The problem is that Humphries would vet any trade to the Celtics.

If it wasn't for that, I'd be happy to give up a first for him.

I'm not saying he's bbd or anything but he benefits a bit from having no other capable rebounders in his lineup. Humphries, because of his double-double stat lines was crazy overrated last season.

So in other words...he'll fit right in? LOL
