Ray Allen has no big bodies to set screens for him anymore.

It's really hurting his offensive game.

Hence my affection for Boris Diaw.  Those saddlebags come in handy.

I must reiterate: Ray is bad news against smaller, quicker 2-guards.  Doesn't punish them offensively or on the boards and loses them on D.

Id rather ineffective ray than dooling.

I was thinking Bradley, but I don't fault Doc.  Just frustrated with our inability to exploit our size when other teams go small.

Maybe Stiemsma should take one for the team and go all Cobra Kai and sweep the leg on Blake Griffin so that Clippers pick becomes more valuable.

Dooling would probably hurt himself :p

Sometimes I would love to see this team with a different coach.

Is this because you are frustrated that he won't play the Purdue connection?
It's a combination of factors, but that would be one of them.

mo williams killing us  ::). ray has been terrible for a month now. is it because of the trade deadline again? if so thats very unproffesional

Can't blame the guy though. Plus father time has definitely caught up with him. If he's still here next year, i think he has to come off the bench as the 2nd unit's scorer. he simply can't keep up with the younger, more explosive guys anymore.

I'd like to see some Bradley/Rondo with Pierce taking the wing possessions.  Just not getting enough from Ray offensively to justify that defensive match-up.

I don't understand this team or doc right now. This all could have ended differently. We were in the bonus for over 5 minutes, and not one freaking foul. We don't attack the paint, ever unless we are on a fast break. Its complete nonsense. With all these veterans and rondo, no one wants to shoot freethrows?

I think a lot of that had to do with Paul Pierce being in foul trouble.  Unless you want to see Ray Allen doing more ball handling and trying to drive to the basket.

yeah probably a better idea than to wait for ray to explode while were getting torched by mo williams
