overlooking the fact that Blatche and Mcgee are knuckleheads (the wicks/rowe of Washington) and Foye is a borderline rotation player, why would Washington touch this?  Mo is mediocre and bass isn't as good as either Blatche or Mcgee.  the 2nd rounder is negligible.

Clips make out like bandits.

Bass is better than Blatche, and in washington he would get more opportunities (more touches and attention). Also Mcgee and Blatche are "knuckleheads", exactly why washington gets rid of them...maybe they change when they play with contenders. as far as mo, it gives wall someone who can score and make layups(uhmmmm nick young)...and so maybe we make it a first round pick(for 2 near 7foot players with actual talent!).

If we get mcgee and blatche to play their potential (which I think doc and playing for a real team can do) then its a great move for us. I personally like foye and have said before foye and pietrus can fill in for ray. and we still have a 1st round pick left.....in the end we get bigger and younger and to me thats what we need

I think Foye is overrated but this isn't too bad of a deal (for us at least). Maybe trade Foye + Blatche and try to get one good player instead of two scrubs, and have a spot open.

Can't we just bring Gerald Green back?

This is more complicated than it needs to be. Washington has already said that anyone willing to take Blatche can have McGee for their trouble. They want these clowns OUT of town.

This deal ( http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=82y3ddk ) plus a 1st gets done by DC. Boston is the one who'd balk if anyone, Blatche isn't just a cancer and a dope but he's got 3 more years remaining on his deal @ 23M.

It would be interesting to see what this team could do with a center who can protect the rim and rebound and even score double in digits regularly..

I'd think we'd have to throw in at least a first and maybe even both for Washington to bite on that trade.

Nobody would throw in  2 1st rounders and Washington wouldn't expect them too either.  They would trade anyone on their roster if someone would take Blatche because of his salary and attitude.
