  • Rondo = Good
1 -- No thanks to Diaw.
2 -- Not worth it.
3 -- Not in your wildest dreams.
4 -- Not gonna happen, and 2 1st rounders is too much.
5 -- No way to Blatche.  Gross.  No reason to throw in picks for that awful contract.
6 -- Golden State doesn't touch that.
7 -- Maybe, but probably better just to sign him this summer if we want.
8 -- Rondo is a better player than Gordon.  Not worth it.
9 -- Too late in the season to do this.  Phoenix won't trade Nash unless he asks, and Gortat has been way too good this season.  Plus, it's a win-now trade that probably wouldn't put us over the top.
10 -- Rondo for Big Al?  Nooooo thanks.

I'm not clicking on all those links to find out the names you are proposing.  I'm tired of lazy posters who won't at least summarize what they are linking to.

Here's a trade I'd do if I'm AInge and I decide to keep the "big 4" together for the remainder of the year:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7j3ox3q

JO, Bass and Dooling (all expiring) for Kaman.

We need a center to have any hope whatsoever of making a playoff run.  If the Hornets relent on their demand for a 1st rounder and insist on not buying out Kaman, this is my offer.

Wilcox, JO and Dooling for Kaman works too:

Give more minutes to guys like Johnson... our bench stinks regardless.

Throw them a 2nd rounder and/or Moore and get it done.  We are DESPERATE for a real center.

If that fails... blow it up.  We aren't doing crap in the playoffs.

Destination J.O. (Possibilities)

Somebody ought to suggest that maybe a basketball court would be a good destination for O'Neal since that's what they're paying him for.

Ahh but that's not in the realms of possibility though, is it?

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

How about a trade that looks like this (it works on the trade machine):

         Minnesota receives-- Jermaine Oneal  (6mil)
                              Marquis Daniels (800k)

            Boston Receives-- Anthony Randolph (2mil/1yr)
                                  Brad Miller  (4mil/2yr)

Why would the Hornets do this?  They get NOTHING.  Come on now...

Bass is a nice power forward locked into a reasonable contract and a kid that played at LSU for a player likely to not be resigned
