I was hoping for more fight in the dog last night. To me this loss was like the Laker loss.
You "don't" lose to the Lakers on your home court. You "don't" lose on your home court to the team that beat you in a game 7 that prevented you from winning title #18. You don't do that.
I thought the Celtics didn't show enough passion, fight, desire and pride in the Laker loss. And that loss to the Lakers was the start of a pretty good skid for us. We were 10-2 going into that game.
This Philly game was the same to me:
They are the team we are "currently" vying with for the Atlantic division title - and we come in and put up "that" game? Seriously?
I don't care if you're tired, whatever, back to backs. It's a short flight to Philly and these guys are elite athletes.
Lose? fine. Lose that way? No.
Needed more focus, more fight, more disire, more pride.
If I were the GM, this loss, along with many other factors thus far this year, would have me leaning towards the little red blow up button.
IMHO
