Just watched rondos layup at the end of reg...................

So he botched the layup. Pierce shouldn't have been passing him the ball regardless.

You can't blame Paul on that play... Rondo was streaming into space and calling for the ball....he could have dribbled and ran down some clock at least...just a bonehead play
Why can't I? He's been in this situation often enough to  know better which one the higher-percentage play (hint: it's not passing the ball to your 60% free-throw shooter).

This is kinda funny that people are blaming Pierce for passing to Rondo for a WIDE OPEN lay ip. He was in a breakaway he wasn't passing to him because they were going to foul him it was because he hjad a free lay up. That was just a weird miss. Also the Rockets probably wouldn't have fouled Pierce. If you fast forward 10 minutes later, they don't foul and get an 8 second call on Pierce. WEIRD!!!

On that Pierce play how is no one helping him though and how is DOC not screaming for a timeout. Rondo was trying to but was too late

You have to blame Rondo for that layup. Unlucky or not, it's a layup. Pierce fed him a great pass and he was wide open. Rondo blew it, it happens and he still played a solid overall game.

Ray missing the jumper didn't bother me. Guys miss shots.

The important thing is we regrouped and won the game. Another big one tonight. It seems like every game is a huge game right now.
