I saw this last night watching the game...great play.

It was pretty cool to see Birdman get stunned like that and still recover to contest the shot.

All in all though...tough play for Anderson. He gets slapped with a spaulding then dunked on.

I think because they saw the Clint Eastwood-y look in Tim Duncan's eyes after the dunk, they decided maybe its best just to let it go.

Chris Andersen, of course, would later learn that Duncan smacked 2 tattoos off his neck, which nobody noticed anyways.

I know people really get jacked at watching dunks but, really?

TD smacked the guy in the face with the ball opening up space to get by him, not very quickly I might add, and a 7 foot center with a 7'3" wingspan dunked.

No biggie in my book.

As an aside, I get offended when people say Kobe was the clear-cut best player of his generation.

Shaq was clearly a far more dominant player, but what's more, I think Tim Duncan has had a much better career than Kobe.

Tim Duncan is top 10 all-time in my book.  Kobe is top 15.

It's the Jordan thing.  Kobe reminds people of Jordan, and they want to see him as being that kind of player.

To me, the more impressive play was Birdman getting smacked upside the face, but still recovering to contest the dunk.  

It's weird that I've never really thought about it, but hitting a guy in the head with the ball is still a foul, right?

Really? A MUCH greater impact? It's one thing to think that TD has had a better career than Kobe. I respectfully disagree - but reasonable minds can argue differently. But really? A MUCH greater impact?
