I'm in the one more run camp, i feel that we could go deep if we bring in the right guy (read rebounding):
IMO the two most moveable players we can trade with out killing our play off chances are Ray and O'neal (we can only move ray if we are getting a building block or major rebounder who comes off the books soon.)
so: a list in order of preference of potentially available bigs who fit that mold...
Al Jefferson (d is poor but no worse then what we can throw out there behind KG now) single handedly brings our rebounding percentage back to respectable, terrific low post scorer who has learned how to pass out of the double team.
Caveman, slow, good d, above average rebounder, tough cookie
Darko, good passer, above average defense, not much rebounding questionable heart
J thompson, natural ability, no heart (blount 2.0?)
okafor, big long contract, not good enough to build around
varejao?, not available unless cav's management is foolish
Of these players i'd only trade allen for jafferson or varejao, utah may bite for allen's expiring, cav's want to loose, no need for allen. DARKO may be had for JO's expiring. the CAVEMAN, who knows what NO is thinking.
