Great point, but why in the world would Denver let him go??  They are trying to trade Birdman if we are interested and think he has anything left.

He's certainly for real as a rebounder and a fast break dunker.  Would make a great compliment to Rondo.

Any one seen enough of him to comment on his defense?

Sure. Tell us how? Because I don't think Denver would do a trade of Faried for our bench and a 1st. Get Birdman or Koufos (KOUFOS!) instead. They're pretty reachable for a 1st rounder trade.

Give up Wilcox.

We are dire in rebounding and Faried shows every indication of being the next rebounding savant in this league.

When you consider that these rebounding avants invariably on good teams lead to championships or contenders, you will realise that we can do this. He could be part of the rotation immediately and make a difference.

Denver has alot of injured bigs. They should at least consider it considering they are contending.

And yes I know...we need size as well, but invariably we can look to pickup someone else.

I'd be all over the idea of trading for Faried. Unfortunately, Denver isn't a good trade partner for us. They don't seem to be in the market for expiring deals, which is all we have to offer other than Rondo.

The only thing I could see possibly coming close to working is a Ray and maybe 2 firsts for Faried and Harrington trade, but that's not going to really help us, nor them. We'd give them some salary relief for the next few years and some picks, and they'd give us Faried and a guy that is worthy of a playoff rotation, but they don't really need a SG and we don't really need a big guy that can't rebound, so that wouldn't work well.
