I don't think it is intellectually honest to consider this an aging, flawed, mediocre, 7-8 seed team on the one hand, and then to whine about lucky shots and disappointing 4th quarter collapses after a win against a good team on the other. If this team is mediocre and they fight to beat an up and coming deep, younger team in overtime, then I think we should be offering praise. A historical performance by Rondo today and a gritty, smart and clutch performance by Pierce. And, a tremendous overtime period by the 'old' team!
If I were prone to criticism after a fun win, I'd probably start with 1-6 from 3 for Pietrus, with at least 3 of the misses shockingly wide open.
