Dooling disastrous season, he's playing horrible, with percentages and continuous turnovers, this is a reality.
I think Ainge find with Bass, Wilcox and Pietrus, but Dooling ...

He must be traded, the Celtics have to do something with this player.

Go here and unleash your frustration by thinking of something ludicrous to trade Dooling for.

 +1

That's what I think,I think I have not been understood, obviously Dooling has no great value in the league, but may enter into any trade, JO for example.

At this time, Moore is better than Dooling, Doc has to know this.

he'll ride the pine when possible.  probably be cut or traded for a ridiculously protected second round pick to a team under the cap when players start hitting the waiver wire and Danny thinks there's someone to pick up.  Daniels and Sasha are probably in the same boat, Daniels moreso than Sasha

I just don't see him being moved in a trade for anything meaningful.

We are working hard as devoted and faithful Celtic fans to come up with a trade DA will pull the trigger for.

To this end, and in the name of cap relief (and sanity as fans)  we have offered up some of our most prized possessions

Practically a Firesale to move Dooling  ASAP

It seems as if Doc and Danny have something of a record of 'promoting' certain guys for more playing time after the trade deadline passes--whether or not the succeed in trading some of the guys ahead of them.  I'd like to see Sasha and EM get more time to finish out the year, though I think we'd really only see more of Sasha if Pierce or Ray ends up traded.

We can't move him, at this point the Celtics would get a better return for Sasha than him.

It depends on how you look at it. They're not asked to do as much. I don't like Dooling, but there's a reason he's getting the minutes and it has nothing to do with Doc not seeing the obvious. He knows what he's doing, but he's doing it poorly. Bradley doesn't completely know what he's doing, but he's doing it pretty well (if Moore played more minutes I'm sure people would find a lot to hate because he's young and still out of position).

I'm hoping in the playoffs we don't make Dooling a part of the rotation though. Use Bradley (who keeps getting better), let Pierce play point-forward and Ray stay in to help him out.

We can't get anything for Dooling and there's no sense in releasing him.

Given the Celtics depth at center, waiving him (buyout?) and signing Dan Gadzuric would make sense.  Of course, it makes more sense to that with Daniels.

I don't think the Celtics should trade a pick just to get rid of him.

Dooling is not the reason we've been bad.   He has not played well.  But he missed a huge amount of games this year so our record isn't dependent on him.

Who would want him?

I am shocked by this.  He has been injured, and since he came back has been in a shooting slump, but otherwise, I have had no problem.  He is still a very good defender, and when he is not asked to do more on offense than his skillset allows (which is essentially as a ball mover and shooter), he is a very solid guy off the bench.

At the beginning of the season he was one of the more valuable players on the team, and once he gets his shooting rhythm back, he will once again be a major contributor, whose versatility as someone who can defend PGs or wings will be very valuable.

Sacremento might need cap filler so they will give us a bag of SWA  peanuts for him.
