Pietrus guarantees Celtics will win Championship

After their third straight victory, a 107-94 win over the visiting Nets, the Celtics (18-17) are ranked just seventh in the Eastern Conference and face a first-round playoff matchup against the Bulls if the standings remain the same. But that didn’t stop Mickael Pietrus from guaranteeing the franchise’s 18th NBA championship.

“I know that you guys say we’re older and all that stuff,” said Pietrus, pointing his finger at each camera surrounding his locker. “We’re going to win the championship, Ok?”

I agree.  It really makes wonder why Phoenix had such a problem with him. 

He probably played too much defense for their taste.

So true. Pietrus could have helped put us over the top the last few years. I like this guy, and really wish we could of gotten him instead of Daniels, Finley and other mediocre players the last few years.

Yes that is a good postive personality/attitude to have in the locker room...it rubs off.  I think PP and KG are glade to give him some of those cheerleading chores I sure it gets old when things are down.   Taking up for JO , he always sounds postive in interviews too. To bad we don't get these guys early in their careers.

BTW...Dooling has a great attitude .  He's just a lousy player  .  Maybe we'll give him some pom poms and a wig.
