Atlanta gets younger and talent!  Beasley, JJ at PF and Danniels to give Joe Johnson some time to heal that knee.  Plus a first in a deep draft.

Minni gets expiring (JO could get bought for cheapier out if his wrist is hurt) deals and rumored 1st round they wanted from LA with a Boston 1st and maybe add a second.

Going into a off season with This core signed?

Rondo/Bradley
Pierce
Smith

Resign KG/Ray/Green/Bass and hope for Howard?

ATL could probably get more, but maybe if they rid Marvin Williams Contract with Bass/Wilcox combo its work it to them.  Or future 2015 Pick?  Is it worth it?

If the rumors are to be believed, involving Minnesota would be a poor idea. Just go for Smith straight up and hopefully save an asset or two from going to Minnesota for nothing. I think the Hawks would be just as likely to take JO as Beasley, meaning the Celtics would be better off ignoring the Wolves entirely in this scenario.

I wonder how in the world the rumors are true, though. Without Rondo being involved, there doesn't seem to be any incentive for the Hawks to trade with us.

I prefer this one

I rather keep the big 4 if I can, and add Smith with only loosing O'neil/Dooling.  I like what Bass/Wilcox add when one of them is in the starting line up.  But you could go.

Rondo
Ray
Paul
Smith
KG

Bradley
Dooling
Petrius
Bass
Wilcox

Pav/More/Greg rotating.

Atlanta certainly wont trade smith unless kg or allen were involved... and im still not sure they would do it... why would they just give away their second best player?

I agree after I look at it.  Kool Aid.  If minni even swaps to save money I guess I still value the two first rounders and Beasley = Smith.

Its all about cap and acquiring the best player in a trade or available play in a draft.  What about getting a pick from either team with this trade.

San Antonio should go after Beasley.
