Posted a thread over at a Utah Jazz forum and was very surprised with just how much they were all willing to give up for Rondo...And I quote...

"I think most of us would take Jefferson+Harris+GS pick for Rondo+random big. I don't think it's much of a rip off at all..'

...Am I the only one who does that in a second?

This should tell you more of what they think of Jefferson than Rondo.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I expected the Jazz fans to say Jefferson and Harris for Rondo and JO was fair. I'm surprised that they would also throw in Golden State's pick.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yeah.  And Harris.

Is it unprotected?  That could very well be a top 5 pick which makes the deal pretty fair.

It's top 7 protected in 2012 and 2013, top 6 protected in 2014.

But probably a moot point, since the Warriors are currently just eleventh worst in the league.

You're surprised? Why? The only ones that don't respect what Rondo does for this team are Celtics fans  ::)

This draft could be crazy deep. Getting any and all first rounders could be a linning long-term strategy.

Dudes like this 30 deep:

Wouldn't a linning long-term strategy be finding overlooked players who went undrafted?
