Not suggesting these trades as good ideas by any means.  Just throwing this out there as what the team would look like for the rest of the season if Danny really does "blow it up."

I like your hypothetical better.  I considered throwing in Budinger, but I figured Pierce didn't have enough value.

Realistic look.  Throw in the pipe dream of Rondo for Curry and Biedrins for a full-on nuke of the team.

I'd say we need to get Morris or Patterson from the Rockets and Eric Bledsoe from the clips.

Bledsoe would probably be a no-go with the Clippers.  He hasn't been that great, anyway, so I wouldn't mind if we didn't get him.

We might be able to get Morris or Patterson in place of Hill, Dragic, or Budinger, which would be nice.  But not necessarily a deal-breaker if we couldn't, as long as the Rockets included a pick or two.

Still, the thing that would bother me about the Rockets deal is the feeling that we'd be trading Pierce to a team that's not likely to contend.  If Pierce is getting traded, I'd like to see him go to a competitive team (which I why I proposed a trade with the Spurs).
