Are we giving up just JO? If so, get this done, heck throw in a 2nd rounder so they won't change their mind. Beasley has his issues, but the dude is 23 and has talent offensively, something we could really use off the bench.

Then sign a vet minimum free agent big, just to add some depth. Can't really think of one right now but it could be someone who's doing good in the d league, a veteran. Just to add depth.

I like th Malcolm Lee idea too.

Considering Minny only gave up 2 2nd rounders to get him the first place, its not all that far-fetched. However, I think it will def take a 1st to get him now.

I'd try hard to offer the Buck's 2nd and cash, or the Buck's 2nd and our own, and might consider reluctantly giving up the lower of our two 1sts instead of the 2nds.

He is a known head case and does have a past with drugs that could make his future a bit sketchy. He is still a kid though and if there is a roster/coach that can whip young players into line i think it would be the Celtics.

And if it is for a straight up JO trade, i am all for that. Even if it is a JO/Dooling/Pavlovic trade, i am all for it. I wouldnt want to give up a first round for him though.

A beasly + Darko for JO/Dooling/Pav (+maybe late second rounder) and I would do it. Gives Minny experience for a playoff berth if they make it this year and also guys that can help the young stars on that team shine. JO was awesome back in the day and he could definatly help around with some defensive advice for their bigs.

I don't think JO has anything in the tank.  So if we could get Beasley for him and some change and a 2nd I would do it in a heartbeat but I have never been high on Beasley.

Why do people keep talking about weed as though smoking it is akin to murdering someone? I don't smoke, never have, I don't drink b/c I hate the taste of liquor (could be b/c I went opposite of my alcoholic father) but I could care less what others want to do as long as it doesn't harm anyone else! Heck, people get KILLED by drunks/drunk people MANY times a day and it's legal (many of you drink and have been drunk), yet he is the devil for smoking weed??? Cigarettes kill people MANY times a day and second hand smoke harms others, LEGAL! Get out of here with that mess!! The guy has a crazy personality so I hear (saw some rambling by him on twitter a while back too) but the last thing I care about is the weed he smokes/smoked! DWest (a fan favorite) smokes weed too (which is his business) and he is mentally unstable, but most of the same ppl ready to crucify Beasley are the same ones who long for DWest to be a Celts again (I miss Redz too, side note)! I can never understand why people choose to get high and mighty over people who smoke weed, while the things you do in secret (b/c you aren't a celebrity/athlete) are far worse but no one knows about it!!

I would be reluctant to throw in the clippers pick for beasley....with our draft luck that pick could turn out to be an impact player...
