Hey..i saw a shot blocker....a guy who defends the paint...on THE BENCH for the Celtics.....The Bucks like him there also..!

If you mean Stiemsma, he's a defensive liability.  We're worse with him on the floor.
Defensive liability....you mean because he blocks shots, shuts down second chance opp's, covers his man...holds the paint...or because under doc, they don't pass to him as he sets the pic and rolls, or never pass to him in the paint....so they choose to play with 4 on O....You won't get me to understand beyond that..i see what is going on and what isn't.....

If simply blocking shots made you a good defensive player, then Hasheem Thabeet and Sean Williams would be All-Stars.  turns out there's a lot more to it than that.

Nice end to the half, but I'd still trade Dooling for two napkins and a shoelace.
you could never get all that for Dooling

You might be mad, but I never played Final Fantasy. Watched some college guys across the hall get addicted and fail out of college though. Thank you God. Timing. It's what's for dinner

This is one of those games where I give Mrs. eja the remote at half time and then I totally lose track of when the 2nd half starts. Although I do have fantasy ball to show me when they're playing again

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I missed most of the 1st half.

I'm not getting a good vibe being down by 4. Yes I seen we were down a lot more with a minute or so to go.

I hope it gets better.

Stiemsma is a below average rebounder and a poor post defender.  The weak-side shot blocking is nice but other than that he doesn't bring a lot to the table at this point.

No I think he means because for his size, he's not a good rebounder, he gives up as many offensive rebounds as anyone else on the team, that he has poor lower body strength and gets muscled out of position, and that he's not that good of a man on man defender.

I have to agree.

Pierce is awful tonight.
