EDGAR my buddy...... Hate to say I told you so! Dont like the team I thought the Suns or Warriors suit his skills better but if he is giving a real chance he will light up scoreboards. I said weeks ago the man has definitely improved his body & worked on his game.

Well let's not get too hasty with this. He got a 10 day contract. Lets see him actually contribute on an NBA roster for an entire season before we go patting ourselves on the back.

I still don't understand why Ainge didn't take another chance on him to validate his pick in some way. Gerald would be our 2nd yes 2nd best scoring option on this squad & instant offense from the bench. Who knows where his D lies right now but we don't need more D. We need offense & he coulda played alongside Bradley & Pietrus at the 2 gaurd spot & the dooling experiment coulda finally died. But my pipe dream now resides in NJ but I'm just happy for Gerald regardless.

I don't think Danny cares about validating his picks.  He's not afraid to walk away when things don't work out, and with Gerald, he apparently saw enough the first time.

Time will tell, I guess.  He'll have a chance in NJ to do nothing other than score.  He should thrive in that particular role, although I'm doubtful he helps the Nets win many games.

New Jersey have no small forwards and will almost definitely be asking Gerald Green to play there, out of position and outside his comfort zone ... a position where he is destined to fail due to his inability to defend or rebound that spot.

Hopefully, G.Green will get some court time at his natural position as a big two guard but I am not optimistic about that happening. Not with Anthony Morrow and MarShon Brooks there already + no SFs on the roster.

It's a shame that this opportunity is such a bad fit for him.

It's tough for me to feel bad for a guy who is on his 6th strike and has failed so miserably to improve on his incredible god-given abilities.

You guys are brutal! Lol but as much as I like Gerald, even a few big high 20 games may not be enough for NJ to win still. So it's unfair to him a little bit! All Star Deron Williams & the 2nd best PG in the league can't get them Wins with that supporting cast. Rondo,KG, & Paul can't win in NJ alone, better yet we can barely win with all 4 together which is not good.

I just picked him up for my fantasy team along with Semih Erden and Omer Asik.

Now Gerald Green will singlehandedly drive the Nets to a 4th place Atlantic Division finish behind the Nix, Sickers, and Raptures. I am quaking in my boots.

Rondo, Pierce, KG, and Ray Allen all need to be traded ASAP as a consequence of this master stroke by New Jersey Nets of signing Gerald Green.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

4-6 from the field 2-3 from 3pt land for 10 pts, 2 rebs in 18 minutes for a big Nets win in Dallas. Great start Gerald looking good & productive in short minutes. Greater things to come I believe! Thumbs up!
