Sam Amico breaks this one, ESPN and the New York Post have confirmed.

Quote
Gerald Green, fresh off D-League All-Star game MVP, to sign with Nets on Monday, says source.

Quote from: ESPN
The 26-year-old Green, who has been trying to revive his NBA career with the D-League's Los Angeles D-Fenders, holds career averages of 7.5 points and two rebounds in 181 professional games over four seasons. He last played 38 games with Dallas in 2008-09.

Good for him.

Apparently they didn't have enough young gunners on the team already.

Yes, exactly what the Nets need, another not good young player that should be in the d league.

Ditto -- looking forward to seeing him play. I'll definitely be tuning in to see some Nets game to check how he's doing over there. Very interested to see how much he's improved since leaving the NBA.

Way to go Gerald. Somewhere very very deep inside me I wish he'd have signed back with Boston... but that is very very deep inside me.

What do the Nets have to lose, I suppose?  They're already the worst defensive team in the NBA by a wide margin, so Gerald won't hurt them there.  Similarly, he won't be asked to rebound, as the Nets are the worst team on the defensive boards, too.

No defense, no rebounding?  It sounds like Gerald's dream gig.

Ditto....I can't believe GG is 26 already. That must make me about 87. I'm happy for him, but I'm going to feel bad for him when he shows up on the first day and Marshon Brooks says "Who are you?" and Derron Williams says "Hheeeeyyyyy! I remember you! You won the dunk contest in like 2001 or something!"

New Jersey have no small forwards and will almost definitely be asking Gerald Green to play there, out of position and outside his comfort zone ... a position where he is destined to fail due to his inability to defend or rebound that spot.

Hopefully, G.Green will get some court time at his natural position as a big two guard but I am not optimistic about that happening. Not with Anthony Morrow and MarShon Brooks there already + no SFs on the roster.

It's a shame that this opportunity is such a bad fit for him.

Hoping for a good return for GG! The little general will find a way to make use of him.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable threads, the first time he puts up 18 points in a 20 point loss.  "OMG whyd we dump gerald!?!!"

He never did any harm here that I can remember. I wish him the best and hope he gets to stay in the league this time. He has some talent and maybe he's grown up a bit.
Good Luck there Gerald.

That clinches it, DWill is definitely staying with them now.
