^ Just think about it next season you may have a chance to see Paul George  @ SG & Jeff green @ SF,You can't tell me that's not a scary thought (in a good way).but at the same time you love paul pierce in that green uniform.  :'(

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I'd be psyched.

Of course, why would the Magic trade Dwight Howard for Brook Lopez and involve us at all? NJ would do that in a heartbeat (and have tried)

and the reason Orlando does the trade is because with that new jersey 2012 pick, they have a chance to sign there next big star in this deep draft the way NJ is playing their bound to have a top 5 pick.

I guess that would be a decent return.

That's a lot of dominoes to fall though.

I think NJ would have to make it a `14 pick since they can't trade consecutive first rounders.

  • Rondo = Good
Pacers would never do that trade.

Trade a young All-Star center and a high-potential SG prospect for a 34 year old All-Star SF and the next Nick Young?  No way.

If they did, that would be Larry's greatest assist in a few years.

pacers are playoff bound with george and hibbard being a big part of their young core and  success, they may trade george for pierce (play off experience) but no way they move hibbard with out getting a quality center in return.

Are you sure? I thought New Jersey still had all their first round picks intact.

Pacers are an up and coming team.  Makes no sense for them to break up their young core for the package that was proposed.

Larry would laugh at Danny on that, much like he did at Celtic shootarounds in the 80's when he put Ainge to shame.   ;)

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Wouldn't Rondo for George and Collison make more sense and then NJ and Orl could still do what they want to do. Also, we still get to keep Pierce.

Agreed. Indy has no reason whatsoever to make this trade. I am also starting get the feeling that Danny is NOT going to make a move this season. I think he's going to let KG and Ray expire and start fresh next summer. That's when I think you may see Pierce moved.

Til then, I think Celts make it as an 8 seed and lose in the first round >:(

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'm not sure if the Pacers would do this but this is one trade I'd be willing to let Paul go for.

2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace
