So we have 2 for the Wiz, 1 for Indy.

I see it like this:

Surface assessment:

Indy: Better perimeter defense, more athletic, Jennings having a slightly better year, better bench.
Wiz: Better frontcourt defenders, better second scoring option, more known quantities.

Also to be factored in: Wilson CHandler still hasn't been cleared to play in the NBA.

Wild Card:  One team has Gilbert Arenas in the locker room, and one team doesn't.

Honestly I don't think Gil at this point is the cancer or distraction he might have been. he's a guy who is legitimately on his way out of a career when he should be a perennial all-star candidate. As far as headcases, I like Charlie V slightly less than I like Superbeas, and I don't like Superbeas, so I kind of just canceled both players out.

Hmm ... hadn't thought about it. Pretty much ignored injuries unless the player was out for the full season. Except for the Hornets since Eric Gordon and Zach Randolph, their two top players, have been both out for half the season. That was too important to look past.

So Indiana would have half a season with Wilson and half a season without him. Tough call. Very tight. Toss up.

And I guess StartOrien isn't gonna help us in this at all either, eh?

I think Wilson Chandler will be back, I just think it might be a few weeks until he is, and I like his team a whole lot more with Wilson Chandler on it.

His team was bounced from the playoffs today/last night, papers expected to be filed Monday.

I've played this right the whole time, just knew the Lions didn't have it in them this year.

Guy: No, not that loser.
Other guy: OHHHHHHH. Yeah, just tell that guy we're never gonna get a Paul George cutout.
Guy: Actually, he wanted a Wilson Chandler one.
Other guy: No way.

I don't think the Wizards can score the ball enough to be a winning basketball team. Their front court is extremely limited offensively, and I don't think Wall & Kevin Martin are anywhere near enough to make up for that.

And I think the GM of the team realized it and went too far the other way, because while there is certainly some fire power there, that bench is littered with ball stoppers.

EDIT: I'm aware that me calling someone out on not be able to score is a bit of the pot calling the kettle black, but I think 1-4 my team has enough offensive talent and versatility to be able to score at a competitive level.

My fat head came in the mail yesterday, actually. It was just a black cardboard poster receipt read "Paul George's Incredible Tron Dunk"

Ha.  Yeah, your two starting lineups are virtually identical in scoring average, and that's if you use Chandler's 15.3 points per game from last year, which might be optimistic.

Ah, well there ya go!

Kevin Martin sure doesn't seem to like passing, but Jared Dudley and John Wall aren't exactly adverse to it, and Noah has been known as a smart passer for years (while Chandler is not to be trusted with the ball outside the circle).

I will say this: Brandon Jennings is only shooting the ball a little worst than John Wall, and he's got a shot from beyond the arc. John Wall is shooting the ball at a steady 21% or something from deep, AND with Kevin Martin's numbers down across the board, the only real consistent gunner they've got from outside is Dudley, who clocks in at a respectable 36% (same as Martin, but neither is really 'good').

I'm gonna flip a coin.
