I wouldn't be so sure...I'm sure some contenders would give a rookie and a pick or something like that for Ray and we could get something respectable for Rondo.

I think you're really overvaluing Ray. I think he's still a good player, but he's not the kind of player that teams are going to fall over themselves to trade for.

As for trading Rondo, that wouldn't exactly help us going forward in any way unless we got a star player for him.

Your telling me a team like the Thunder wouldn't trade their first round pick for Ray Allen if they could fit him under the cap?

Actually, I think they wouldn't trade for Ray Allen if it is just a rental for a few months.  They might if Sefolosha had a season-ending injury.

It wouldn't shock me if contender teams are reluctant to screw with team chemistry and make a trade for Ray Allen unless they have a season-ending injury to their starting shooting guard.

People saying March 1st more or less nailed it.

For anyone that's unsure of what that is, basically free agents signed by teams this season can't be traded until then.

As far as I understand it, it's not necessarily March 1st, but it's the free agents being on a team for a length of time. In a normal season, this certain date would have already passed. Because of the lockout, the date got pushed ahead, and just happens to be March 1st.

So pretty much, anyone itching to hear some real trade rumors pretty much should mark that date on their calendar.

March 1st ;D

Yeah.  No trades happening until then.

If Danny makes any big moves, my guess is he'll be getting in on a multi-team deal.
