Except Haslem plays more minutes the Anthony and will be the one in there during crunch time.

This is part of Miami's problem. When it comes to close games, there are no easy baskets to have. Their two best players are on the wings and neither Bosh nor Haslem are good enough in the post to feed.

There problem is they do not involve Bosh enough.

Their problem is that Bosh isn't a threat in the post and that makes him less effective when all the offense is coming from the wings.

Lebron and Bosh were pretty effective as a two man offense when Wade was out.

And Lebron is the low post threat on that team.

If your SF is your team's low post threat and his post game is as rudimentary as LeBron's is, then your team has a problem.

Have I gotten the chance to mention that Corey Brewer is currently averaging 9.4 pts, 1.3 steals, 3.3 rebounds, 46% shooting and 36% from deep in just over 20 minutes per game this year?

As in, 'Corey Brewer is playing better than your backup 3'.

Thanks for the feedback on the first couple of pages. And thanks to roy agaon for drafting and tweaking the end of my roster.

I hear the criticism about the SF position,  Obviously Hill is a one year guy to add a vet presence to the team.  I would hope to either draft a SF, or sign one in the next year or two.

I like Henderson quite a bit as my SG.  I think he's a quiet contributor who will be a solid piece of this teams core.

As for the "trouble" of having Cousins and Monroe on the same team, let's just say I need to see how it will work out.  It has the potential of being pretty awesome if it works.  I turned down some darn good offers for Cousins.  I would give that tandem a year or two to figure it out and if it doesn't work out I know I can get some serious talent back for either of them at any time.

BTW, it looks like I cashed in Monta at the right time.   ;)
Yup

C - Marc Gasol/Joel Anthony
PF - David West/Nick Collison/Donte Green
SF - Rudy Gay/Donte Green
SG - Mike Miller/Michael Redd/Von Wafer
PG - Jason Kidd/C.J. Watson

I'm considering a mid-level trade that I had in mind, but before I proceed down that road any thoughts about my team?

Nice collection of bigs. The C rotation is especially good (and this is coming from someone who desperately wants to acquire Joel Anthony).

However, I don't like the guards much at all. A Kidd-Miller backcourt seems like it will have problems defending most of the rest of the league. That will put strain on the defensive integrity of the rest of the unit. I might look to bring Miller off the bench.

Try to somehow acquire a SG/SF glue-guy type with some athleticism who can start and give 20-25 minutes a night.

I went back and forth between him and T-Mac for a while.

You chose wrong!

Well, for your team, you might have chosen right. McGrady on defense isn't very good, but he moves the ball a heck of a lot better than Brewer.

But between the complaining, the poor shooting %, and declining athleticism, I think Brewer would've been the better choice.

Thanks.

I don't think Kidd is that bad of a defender, even at this point of his career. He isn't 2003 level, but he is decent, even at this stage.

In this scenario, he'd most likely guard the SG of our our opponent, and Wafer, while not starting, would spend some time on the PGs.

CJ Watson did an admirable job at PG while DRose was out, too.

With the acquisition of Dante Cunningham, we have a Gerald-Wallace type SF who can defend SF's, some PF's and G's as well.

Overall we wouldn't be a bad defensive team at all. And I love our offensive options from Gasol down to Mike Miller.

And you gotta love that Championship Pedigree that Kidd brings the team.

Nice pickup in Dante. If he were 4 inches shorter, he'd be exactly the type of player I was thinking of for you as a backup wing/borderline starter.

This year, T-Mac has played all of his minutes at the 3 and has defended it to a 9.4 opponent PER, through 27 games. Last year he defended the 3 1/3 of the time to a 14 PER. I don't think he's going to keep up the 9.4 pace, but I don't think I'm giving up much defensively with T-Mac. I liked Corey but I don't understand how you can be 6'9 188, it just doesn't make sense. Eat a sandwich.

Plus I wanted the passing and for T-Mac to come home to Orlando.

I'd take Tracy McGrady over Corey Brewer as a backup SF. I like McGrady's rebounding and creative abilities offensively over Brewer's manic defense and hustling offense.

I like Corey Brewer more as a two than a three. Still, the backup SF position is quite weak so Corey Brewer is still an above average bench player at that position.
